Per visualizzare l'hostname della tua macchina digita: 
# hostname
localhost.localdomain
per modificarlo in mionome.miodominio.it digita: 
# hostname mionome.miodominio.it
per verificare la modifica: 
# hostname
mionome.miodominio.it
Attenzione dopo un reboot il nome dell'host ritornerà quello originale.
